This is a Matthew Thissen appreciation post and to raise awareness of Matthew Theiseen because to be honest, I believe the hootowls do not appreciate Matthew Thiessen enough for what he has done for Adam and how much he has helped write songs.

If you’re unfamilliar with Matt, here he is:

You may know Matt as the lead singer of Relient K, but sadly not enough people know of Relient K. Here’s what you may know Matt for: The other voice in “Tidal Wave” or the “Please take me away from here” voice in “fireflies”. Sadly, the song titles don’t say featuring Matthew Thiessen, which kind of bugs me. Matt also helped write Fireflies,tidal wave,plant life and the bird and the worm. So, Adam has not always wrote his songs alone people! Matt has helped!

Everyone should appreciate Relient K and Matt Thiessen. One of my favorite Relient K songs is Terminals (unfortunately it’s an Amazon exclusive only), but Adam helped produce it and stuff. c:
